CASA Volunteer Training

CASA Volunteer training is 30 hours and covers a wide variety of subjects including: Overview of the Law, Policies and Procedures, Dynamics of Abuse and Neglect, Substance Abuse, Cultural Diversity, Court Report Writing and Interviewing, the Court Process, and the Indian Child Welfare Act. In addition, all volunteers observe court proceedings and participate in a screening interview. Cleveland County CASA conducts volunteer training four times a year.
